Sara and I walked over to my parents room to have a little breakfast on the balcony and watched the ocean and families walking on the beach. After breakfast we drove around to find a music shop that someone told us about because I wanted to buy a ukulele while I was In Hawaii. It just felt like something I needed to do while I was here
and also because I play the guitar and thought I could pick it up easy. After I bought my ukulele we walked over to subway to pick up some subs for lunch that we had in the garden under a few palm trees, ahh what a cool breeze. After lunch, Sara and I went to the beach for some snorkeling at black rock which Sara got to jump off of. She has been talking about wanting to jump off of black rock since we left for our vacation to Hawaii. You will see the video of Sara jumping off of black rock below.
After our snorkeling we went back to our room to get cleaned up before we headed downstairs for our lei making class which was a lot of fun to learn. Then it was time to drive to Keihi, Maui to meet up with Michael Andrew – michaelthemaven.com. Michael sells instructional videos to help professional photographers and anyone that is starting into photography. If you want to learn about your new camera like the canon T3i, Canon 5D, 7D or would like to learn lighting, business and much, much more, you will want to check him out! I started watching his YouTube videos when I was starting into photography. After talking to Michael through email, Facebook, his website or his forum, Michael found out that I would be taking a vacation to Maui so he told me to let him know when I get to Maui so we could meet up for dinner. Sara and I met up with Michael and his assistant at a restaurant called Oceans, we had a pretty great time and learned some great tips about what we need to do for our business to take it to the next level. Oh did I tell you about the fish tacos and the Mai Mai? Yum, it was some really great food at Oceans. We then, headed to Tuitti Frutti for some frozen yogurt which was awesome! You pick your yogurt and put anything that you can imagine on it. If you wanted it, they had it, Twix, Oreos, chocolate syrup etc… After you were done loading up your yogurt, you would take it to the counter to have it weighed to get you your price. It was a fantastic time.
Like I said earlier, Sara wanted to jump off of black rock. Here is the video, I wish I could have got a snap shot of her jumping but could only get video or picture. As you will see in the video, the rock was quit slippy so you really need to be careful that you don’t fall and kill yourself. So here she goes…
The video is a little quiet because I have a underwater case around my Canon S95.
